At AKF Martial Arts of Elgin, our classes and programs are designed for the whole family! Regardless of age, size of your family, fitness levels, or experience, your family is welcome at our academy. From holding paddles for your preschool aged child to jumping on the mat alongside them on your own blackbelt journey, we encourage families to train together, both on the mat and at home.

Martial arts is a great bonding activity for the family and an amazing opportunity for you and your family to interact, engage, learn, get fit, and have a lot of fun together. We’ve seen kids and parents learn to better respect each other and improve their communication and ability to work together after just a few weeks of training together. We’re excited and look forward to seeing you and your family on the mat alongside us.
